All events and activities run 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., unless otherwise listed. Activities take place adjacent to the Flutterby exhibit area and are free with regular Zoo admission (Flutterby fee still applies for entry to the exhibit).

Fly Away Day
It’s the last hurrah for “Flutterby: Butterflies in Bloom at Roger Williams Park Zoo.” Fly Away Day kicks off the closing weekend of the Zoo’s walk-through butterfly exhibit with fun butterfly-themed activities for the whole family. And don’t forget to get in your last walk through the exhibit! (Admission to the exhibit requires a nominal fee in addition to regular Zoo admission.) - Marvel at Marvelous Marvin, in his great new play Bugging Out 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 in the Education Center
"Bugging Out" is all about bugs, insects and outdoor exploration. Using his unique rhyming text, we'll learn about some bug habits that you may not believe or even what to know but you will if you stay. Marvin has written poems about dragonflies, ladybugs, worms and a host of other crawly, creepy creatures. Mixing in circus arts, magic tricks and music, Marvelous Marvin has constructed his show to look like a large book revealing engaging illustrations inside drawn by gifted artist Paul Olson. Treat yourself to “Bugging Out”, an entertaining extravaganza.
