Instructions: Pass out a copy of this form to each child. The children fill in the answers as they visit the various animal exhibits. At the end of their zoo visit, the children compare their answers with the answer sheet. Recommended for children in kindergarten to grade 4.

1. I am the largest bird in the world. I can run very fast but I can’t fly. One of my eggs could make an omelet for 10 people. My home is in the African plains.

2. I use my ears as airconditioners and my nose is longer than Pinocchio’s! I live in Africa and eat huge amounts of food each day.
