TODDLER TREK
(Ages 20 - 36 months)

The Toddler Trek program includes songs, movement, biofacts, pictures, animal visitors, and interactive play stations. 
Developmentally appropriate lessons help the children acquire new skills while exploring through play. 
Each 45-minute class will include a nature or animal theme for you and your child to learn about together. 
Children receive a “passport” for collecting stamps to celebrate their participation in each program.

TODDLER ART
(Ages 20-36 months)

The Toddler Art program uses creative art materials (including paints, papers, glues, and modeling compounds)
in a fun and interactive learning experience that toddlers and their parents can share together.  Developmentally
appropriate lessons help the children acquire new skills while exploring through play.  Each 45-minute class includes
a nature or animal theme incorporated into songs, movement, an art activity, and scribble time activity. 

Themes change monthly.

PRESCHOOL ADVENTURES
(Ages 3 - 5)
These programs are for children three to five years old accompanied by an adult.
Each adventure focuses on a special animal or area of the zoo and presents opportunities
for adult/child pairs to make discoveries together. These 90-minute programs include a lesson,
snack and craft activity.

(To the music of “Walk like an Egyptian”) The
penguins sway side to side as they walk towards
water to get wet. With feathers that are black and
white they’re the cutest bird I’ve ever met. All the
penguins say “honk honk hoooonk hooooonk honk
honk,” waddle like a penguin!!!

WILD TALES
Even more for the little ones!

Designed as a second option for ages 3 - 5. Wild Tales is story time where we’ll share great tales
new and old. A shorter program than our Preschool Adventures classes, Wild Tales is designed to
pique children’s interest in broader wildlife themes. Each class runs approximately 60 minutes and
will include a story, making a snack, and up close experiences with nature and wildlife.
Stories change monthly.

Zoo ExplorersZOO EXPLORERS (Ages 6 - 8)

This exciting hour-long program is designed for children 6-8 years old, who have moved
on from our preschool programs. Come have fun while learning more about our world and
the animals in it! Spend some time in the classroom exploring biofacts and other activities,
then head outside to learn more about habitat, adaptations, niches and behaviors through Zoo exploration.
