Exclusive Brunch to the Experience
The Zoo’s annual “Meet Our Moms” event is back again, offering all mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers and honorary mothers half-off the cost of regular Zoo admission on May 11, when accompanied by a child. The first 150 moms at the Zoo will also receive a complimentary rose.
Once inside the Zoo, everyone can enjoy a host of activities celebrating motherhood and springtime. Listen in on “baby talks” about select Zoo animals, watch botanical artist Mathilde Duffy create an original piece and enjoy musical entertainment by Jordan Cannady. See a spring wreath display, find out how to build your own butterfly garden, and check out TEN31 Productions’ whimsical human flower topiary. Kids can craft a gift for mom, families can pose for a picture beside the Zoo’s famed Sentinel Dog statue, and more. Activities run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are free with regular Zoo admission.
Plus, for the first time the Zoo is also offering an exclusive Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For an additional fee and with advanced reservations, families can make mom feel extra special with an extravagant brunch served in the Zoo’s venetian-style plaza or private picnic pavilion. The menu includes carved beef tenderloin with Brazilian barbecue sauce, chimichurri roasted fingerling potatoes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit salad and more. A family photo and “make-your-own-frame” craft activity for kids are included as well.

Zoo members receive $5 off the cost of the adult and child brunch tickets (toddler price remains the same).
